GLBC Forms Strategic Partnership with OEC Graphics

Great Little Box Company is always looking for ways to expand and grow within the packaging and manufacturing industry to provide the best solutions for customers.

GLBC announced today that it will be forming a strategic partnership with US-based OEC Graphics – a family-owned industry leader in pre-media, flexo platemaking, facilities management, display graphics and brand management. With headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, OEC operates multiple facilities across North America, specializing in custom technology solutions for their costumers.

In the fall of 2014, OEC approached GLBC, the west coast’s largest packaging manufacturer, to form a strategic partnership where they would open their first Canadian location and become a permanent tenant in GLBC’s head office plant operating in Richmond, BC.

Jeff Schloesser, President and owner of OEC Graphics, states, “We couldn’t be more excited to open our first commercial Canadian operation in partnership with GLBC.  GLBC’s reputation, business philosophy and location provide OEC with the perfect partner to launch our prepress and plating services in the British Columbia market. This location completes our West Coast facilities strategy with operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and now Vancouver.”

This partnership with OEC means that GLBC will now have an in-house strategy for graphics overflow and print tooling which will speed up the order cycle time and ensure on-time delivery for orders.

James Palmer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for GLBC states, “We are excited to have OEC as a tenant operating under the GLBC roof. OEC’s innovative technology will now allow us to provide quicker pre-press, printing plates and overall faster service to our valued customers.”

GLBC is a leader in packaging solutions, providing customers quality corrugated, custom displays, labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, rigid boxes and protective packaging. Do you have a packaging need? Don’t hesitate to contact us or request a quote. We’re happy to help.
