Our Production Team servicing our Design Department is hiring to fill an immediate need. We are looking for a hardworking and dynamic individual to fill the role of Production Assistant -Design Department. We are looking for this person to work evening shifts between the hours of 2 PM to 10 PM. We are looking to fill this role ASAP. Please note that this is a full time position.

Responsibilities Include:

  • A team member to work and assist on Production type work activities within a variety of departments under the Design Department including:
    • Sampletable operation and Sampleroom activities
    • Printplate production preparation and delivery to Production
    • Steel Die Tooling repairs, alterations and delivery to Production
  • Work on department overflow from dayshift team(s)
  • Backup dayshift staff as required
  • Servicing the Design Department with various administrative type activities including wrapping, assembling and shipping out samples.
  • Learning the technical trade of Steel Die Making to help with repair and alterations of steel dies.
  • Servicing production as required
  • Data entry of work in computer systems
  • Other general production duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school completion required
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and contribute to the team as well as the ability to work independently
  • Good English and language skills, spoken and written.
  • Ability to use a computer a definite asset
  • Capable to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
  • Sound judgement and decision making ability
