We are looking for a hardworking and dynamic individual to be our KBA Press Feeder (3rd Stager). You are both tenacious and driven in your work and have a strong will and desire to see your team succeed.

This is a full time position Friday-Sunday 5:00PM-5:30AM

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school completion
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in manufacturing/printing
  • Feeder or print experience an asset
  • Basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials
  • Ability to accurately follow and read instructions on the job ticket
  • Ability to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and feeder mechanisms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to use a computer an asset
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must be a team player

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure jobs are staged properly and accurately for upcoming shifts. This includes but is not limited to plates, inks, samples, coating blankets, job tickets are attached to plate file and dockets are at press.
  • Check levels of powder, wash up solvents, water, etch & sub
  • File away coating blankets, sample sheets and return inks
  • Ensure material is available for feeder, to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
  • Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of paper
  • Deliver equipment components such as plates and ink to the equipment for installation
  • Provide basic assistance as needed to setup for make-ready on equipment
