Local Spotlight- GLBC Celebrates BC Buy Local Week

December 4, 2017

During the final week of November, British Columbian’s across the province recognized BC Buy Local Week. The annual celebration highlights B.C. businesses that help support and grow the local economy and give residents a chance to donate to local causes.

Great Little Box Company is a proud member of LOCO BC. Our company got its start in Burnaby back in 1982 with a 5,000 sq. ft facility. 24 years later, we now work out of a 250,000 sq.ft building in Richmond. We are grateful for the local community who has supported our growth.

Buying Local

It is easy for consumers to purchase locally- whether in person or online.

BC meats, produce and prepared foods can be found on the shelf along with imports. Keep an eye out for a pink #BCBuyLocal sticker while shopping. We are proud to help package some of these local products (more on that below!)

GLBC has been lucky enough to work with some of the province’s best beer and winemakers. From vineyards to breweries, you can’t go wrong with buying local when it comes to beer and wine. Need a little guidance? Check out some of the packaging and labels GLBC has created for BC breweries.
